Anthropic’s Claude Now Connects to More Tools to Transform From an AI Assistant into AI Collaborator

Anthropic is introducing a new directory of tools that connect to Claude, which can be explored and tried with a single click, along with featuring new connectors, built by its partners, to remote services such as Notion, Canva, and Stripe and local desktop applications such as Figma, Socket, and Prisma.

Now Claude can have access to the same tools, data, and context that its users do—transforming it from a helpful assistant into an informed AI collaborator that gives more relevant responses and can work with users directly in their tools.

Here are some ways Claude can be used with connected tools:

  • Ship faster: Turn Claude discussions into organized Notion roadmaps
  • Create designs: Transform creative briefs into Canva social media posts
  • Improved design to code: Turn Figma files into production-ready code
  • Manage payments: Access Stripe customer data and payment information

You can explore the directory of recommended tools at claude.ai/directory. Click "Connect" to authenticate (or “Install” for desktop extensions), and Claude gains access to a users’ work context. You can also browse featured tools at anthropic.com/partners/mcp.

The directory is available now to all Claude users on web and desktop. Local desktop extensions are available through the Claude Desktop app. Connectors to remote apps and services are available to paid plan users only.

“Claude is quickly becoming an essential creative partner for millions of people, and this integration brings Canva’s full design capabilities directly into that experience,” said Anwar Haneef, GM and head of ecosystem at Canva. “Instead of uploading or manually transferring ideas, users can now generate, summarize, review, and publish Canva designs, all within a Claude chat. MCP makes this possible with a simple toggle in settings, marking a powerful shift toward user-friendly, AI-first workflows that combine creativity and productivity in one."
