Informatica from Salesforce, a leader in AI-powered enterprise cloud data management, is deepening its collaboration with Microsoft, unveiling new integrations designed to empower joint customers to accelerate and fuel their AI and analytics initiatives with trusted data.

Headless IDMC's Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers are now generally available within Microsoft Foundry, enabling joint customers to power their AI agents with trusted data from Informatica’s Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).

By making Informatica’s MCP servers discoverable within Foundry, Informatica enables Azure customers to seamlessly integrate critical data management services—such as Cloud Data Governance and Catalog Metadata Search, Cloud Address Verification, Customer Identification, Job Management, and Data Provisioning—into their AI agents, enabling these agents to operate with trusted, authoritative, and traceable context, according to Informatica.

Informatica also expanded its Intelligent Data Management Cloud’s (IDMC) Cloud Data Integration support for Fabric to bring Mass Ingestion and Change Data Capture services for Fabric Data Warehouse.

With this innovation, IDMC customers can use mass ingestion and replication to ingest billions of rows each month into Fabric OneLake or Fabric Data Warehouse while using Change Data Capture to minimize compute time and costs to keep data synced, the company said.

By combining Informatica’s extensive connector ecosystem with Fabric’s scalability, customers can reduce redundant processing, streamline incremental updates, and accelerate time to insight.

“Microsoft Foundry continues to expand its tool ecosystem to help customers build and scale AI agents with confidence,” said Tina Schuchman, corporate vice president and GM of Foundry Agents at Microsoft. “Informatica’s MCP servers, now available in Foundry Tools Catalog, enable us to bring trusted enterprise data and interoperability into our ecosystem—enabling customers to seamlessly operationalize AI at scale with high-quality, governed data.”
