WisdomAI Releases Live Apps to Replace Traditional Dashboards with Governed, Interactive AI Applications
WisdomAI is introducing Live Apps, a new way for data teams to build and deliver governed AI applications across the enterprise.
Built from a prompt and connected to live enterprise data, Live Apps turn business questions and workflows into interactive applications in minutes, giving data teams a faster alternative to traditional dashboards without giving up accuracy, governance, or control, according to the company.
“Only 19% of analytics leaders we surveyed in our recent study are fully confident in their AI-generated insights, even as employees are finding more ways to use AI with company data,” said Soham Mazumdar, CEO and co-founder of WisdomAI. “Data teams need a way to give people the speed and flexibility they now expect from AI without creating hundreds of applications they can’t govern or trust. Live Apps let them build what the business needs in minutes while keeping the data, context, and controls in one governed environment.”
Live Apps give data teams a way to bring the speed of generative AI into a governed enterprise environment. A user can describe the application they need in a prompt, and WisdomAI builds an interactive application connected to live enterprise data and the company’s existing business context. Data teams retain control over the data, metrics, semantic definitions, security, and access behind every application, the company said.
Live Apps turn a single prompt into an interactive analytics application connected to live enterprise data. Unlike a static dashboard, each application gives users a place to investigate what is happening in the business, ask follow-up questions, explore possible causes, and determine what to do next.
“We envisage Live Apps to be a business cockpit for the enterprise leader. A static dashboard view can’t anticipate every question,” Mazumdar said. “Live Apps give people an interactive place to start a business inquiry, then help them understand where to look next, explore hunches, and improve operational business processes.”
Live Apps are built on secure, governed WisdomAI domains and they inherit certified metric definitions, semantics, row-level and column-level security, as well as role-based access controls. They query across federated data sources while the underlying data stays in place, allowing applications to work across disconnected enterprise information without requiring teams to move or prepare it in a new system.
Each Live App automatically refreshes to keep insights current, gets its own instantly hosted sandbox and auto-generated URL for collaboration, includes smart caching for cost control, and provides auditability for enterprise compliance.
With support for MCP and a Python toolkit, teams can also build applications for forecasting, proactive anomaly detection, root-cause analysis, what-if scenarios, and cross-source analysis, said the vendor.
