John Daly is Senior Director of AI Platforms & Agentic Systems at Cisco IT, where he leads the design and deployment of enterprise-scale AI systems supporting over 7,000 engineers and technical program managers. His current focus is building AI-native teams and fundamentally reinventing the software development lifecycle around AI, embedding intelligent agents directly into how engineering organizations plan, build, and deliver software.

Over two decades at Cisco, John has moved from engineering and portfolio leadership into building and shipping production agentic systems, including custom agents that automate backlog creation, story generation, and requirements translation; MCP servers and RAG pipelines that compress PRD cycles from weeks to hours; and an enterprise AI Knowledge Hub spanning commercial ops, sales, revenue, and compensation functions.

As a leader within Cisco IT’s AI Center of Excellence, John helps develop the playbooks, governance frameworks, and value measurement systems that enable responsible AI adoption at scale. He also led Cisco’s AI-First PMO initiative, reskilling 600+ Technical Program and Project Managers to operate as AI-native teams working alongside intelligent agents.

John holds a Master’s degree from Harvard, an MS in IT Management from Florida State, and a Graduate Certificate in ML/AI. He is a certified PfMP, PMP, and ITIL v3 Expert.
