Coveo Supercharges GenAI and Agentic AI with New Integrations, APIs, and More

Contributing to this vision, Coveo for Agentforce—an integrated solution for Salesforce—addresses the way AI agents are grounded in enterprise knowledge. On the developer side, Agentforce offers relevance-augmented retrieval to improve the model’s interpretation of user intent, and therefore enhancing its ability to deliver relevant information. Hybrid ranking and retrieval accuracy also serve to improve response accuracy, paired with robust security that ensures content automatically inherits document-level and item-level permissions. Out-of-the-box software connectivity helps reduce the time to securely extract relevant content from virtually any enterprise repository, while the unified hybrid index delivers real-time updates across file formats and content, enforcing consistency and standardization.
Coveo is also introducing enhancements to the Coveo suite of APIs, offering four new APIs designed to afford developers greater flexibility as they build precise, secure, business-aware AI experiences, according to the company. These APIs include:
- Coveo Search API: Allows agents to retrieve a list of documents with their source links, ideal for accessing documents directly.
- Passage Retrieval API: Helps ground agents by returning passages that can be used by developers building custom GenAI or agentic applications.
- Case Classification API: Enables customer support agents to better classify a user support case based on an enterprise’s unique taxonomy, improving case resolution times and efficiency.
- Answer API: Delivers direct answers from Coveo Relevance Generative Answering, affording enterprises access to secure answers into experiences beyond search pages, such as custom applications or agents.
Finally, Coveo is debuting its Agentic AI Design Partner Program, a program facilitating enterprise collaboration amid a rapidly evolving AI space. This program allows organizations to share and discuss their present technology needs and challenges, all while receiving support from Coveo’s Product team to address various AI inhibitors.
