Nutrient Unveils AI Innovations that Modernize Document Workflows
Nutrient, the leading document processing and workflow automation platform, is announcing several new releases for its product suite, featuring AI-powered capabilities that elevate business productivity. Each of these innovations serve to modernize document workflows, increasing overall efficiency and forwarding higher profitability, according to Nutrient.
Nutrient’s announcement is segmented into four key releases: the new AI Assistant, Document Authoring SDK, Document Engine features, and Digital Signatures API.
Nutrient’s AI Assistant aims to “level-up” the document experience, enabling users to interact with their PDF documents via natural language. Capable of analyzing, summarizing, and translating text in mere seconds, AI Assistant pairs chat interaction with powerful editing features—such as the capacity to redact information based on contextual understanding, at scale—improving document workflow productivity.
Additionally, AI Assistant is built into Nutrient’s document viewer solution, which easily works with OpenAI and other large language models (LLMs) through an API key.
This announcement also features the public launch of Nutrient’s Document Authoring SDK, an easy-to-use WYSIWYG editor—similar to Google Docs or Microsoft Word—that enables users to open, edit, and export complex documents, according to the company. The Document Authoring SDK ensures perfect document fidelity across browsers, limiting context switching and streamlining the editing process.
With new enhancements to Nutrient’s Document Engine—a powerful headless processing, rendering, and collaboration server—users benefit from the following capabilities:
- Split large XLSX files into multiple PDF pages, improving organization and delivering customizable page widths.
- Edit text within PDFs through real-time adjustments.
- Convert PDFs to Office formats for easy editing and revision.
Finally, the new Digital Signatures API allows enterprises to seamlessly integrate digital signatures within apps, websites, or other platforms, paired with effective management to ensure compliance with regional eSignature laws. The Digital Signatures API eliminates the complexities of digital certificate management, additionally featuring SOC 2 compliance and trust certificate validation.
“These latest updates and releases underscore our commitment to driving innovation in document workflows,” said Jonathan Rhyne, co-founder and CEO of Nutrient. “By integrating advanced AI capabilities, releasing a powerful text editor, and expanding the feature set of our platform, we’re providing modern businesses with the building blocks to accelerate their digital transformation.”
