Securiti Reaches AWS Security Competency Status for its Robust AI Security
Securiti, the pioneer of Data+AI Command Center, announced it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security Competency status in the new AI Security category—distinguishing Securiti as one of a select few inaugural partners recognized by AWS for their ability to secure AI workloads across all AI security use cases, including data security, security posture management, and threat detection and response.
Security frameworks, such as OWASP Top 10 risks for LLMs, and compliance frameworks, such as EU AI Act and NIST AI RMF, have emerged to provide guidance on safe adoption. Securiti automates these controls, allowing organizations to align with all of these frameworks across the entire AI system.
Securiti empowers AWS customers to:
- Easily build safe enterprise AI: Accelerate GenAI adoption across the enterprise with Securiti’s Gencore AI, which simplifies the creation of AI systems, copilots, and agents.
- Secure and govern all AI systems: Bring existing and new AI systems—including shadow AI—under central security and governance control. Automatically discover AI models, map data flows, continuously assess AI security posture, and enforce controls for data sanitization, access governance, and mitigation of malicious attacks on AI systems.
- Protect data used by AI in third-party apps: Discover, classify, and assess data risks before sharing with SaaS applications.
"AI Security is about safeguarding the entire Data+AI System—not just isolated models or prompts,” said Rehan Jalil, CEO of Securiti AI. “This recognition by AWS underscores Securiti’s holistic approach to AI Security and Governance, essential for empowering businesses to fully harness the potential of their data with GenAI.”
The AI Security & Governance solution is built into Securiti Data Command Center, a centralized platform for enabling the safe use of data+AI.
Powered by a knowledge graph, it provides contextual insights across an organization’s data and AI assets, spanning hybrid architectures, including AWS, on-premises environments, and SaaS applications.
With an agentless discovery approach, it offers out-of-the-box risk insights through built-in dashboards and automated remediations to secure data and AI everywhere, according to Securiti AI.
Additionally, the platform includes a context-aware LLM Firewall to protect AI interactions across multiple interfaces, including prompts, data retrievals, and responses.
The solution mitigates new AI risks, protects sensitive data, and ensures controls such as entitlements are honored. Corporate policies are also enforced to ensure AI results generate appropriate responses.
